We are seeking an analytical leader with a strong background in cost control, IFRS, and budget management who can seamlessly coordinate with operational teams and lead compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes;

· Carry out the preparation and review of financial and accounting statements;

· Ensure control over accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciliation processes, accrual transactions, and supporting documents;

· Verify the correctness of accounting transactions and accounting records, cost allocations, and cost classifications;

· Participate in budgeting and management reporting processes;

· Provide support for the implementation and monitoring of cost control procedures;

· Conduct monitoring and analysis of operational and administrative expenses;

· Ensure coordination with operational departments regarding cost allocation and supporting documents;

· Participate in external audit processes and the preparation of tax reports;

· Supervise daily accounting operations and provide support to the accounting team;

· Participate in ensuring compliance with accounting policies, tax legislation, and internal procedures;

· Provide proposals for the improvement of accounting processes and internal control mechanisms, and participate in these processes.

 

Requirements:

· Education: Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics.

· Work experience: Minimum 5 years;

· Work experience in the position of Senior Accountant or Deputy Chief Accountant;

· Azerbaijan Professional Accountant Certificate (PMS) – mandatory;

· Having ACCA / DipIFR / CAP / CIPA certificates is an advantage.

· Language skills: Azerbaijani language – fluent; Russian and English language – good level;

· Computer skills: 1C, Excel, Microsoft Office programs;

· Experience participating in month-end closing processes;

· Experience in the field of audit and tax reporting;

· Practical knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable management, accrual transactions, reconciliation processes, and cost allocation;

· High-level knowledge of accounting and tax legislation;

· Having theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS and accrual accounting principles;

· Having experience in the field of implementation and monitoring of cost control procedures;

· Experience participating in management reporting and budgeting processes;

· Ability to control and verify accounting transactions, accounting records, and cost allocations;

· Ability to control and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data;

· Strong analytical thinking, problem identification, and prompt problem-solving skills;

· Experience participating in external audit processes is an advantage.

 

Working Conditions:

· Labor relations are regulated on the basis of the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

· Workplace: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport;

· Work schedule: Daily (5 days).
